When people talk about you when you're not around, what do they actually say?
"Oh that guy's all talk."
"That guy's just a big dreamer, does nothing."
"He's a good guy. Do the deal with him."
Do you understand how powerful it is to have other people vouching for you?
It can make or break something massive in the works.
I've seen life-changing deals fall apart because I wouldn't vouch for someone. Tens of millions of dollars.
Because I could tell it was just a money grab and they were trying to weasel their way into something they had no business being in.
We all do this by the way (talk about others) But are you conscious of it?
"Oh yeah, they do shitty work and overcharge for everything."
"Invite them 3 hours early so they show up on time."
If your personal name or business is known for that, you have a STANDARDS problem.
Most people are focused on Google reviews, Trust Pilot, all that stuff. That's fine and all but the ultimate review is what your name stands for when you're not around.
Are you a 'solutions' person or a 'pain in the ass' person? Are you fun to drink with but no one's taking you seriously?
Or are you the person that actually gets the job done?
Your name is your real brand.
What does yours say about you?
