As soon as you start winning, people get weird.
"Are you sure about this? Why not just get a 'safe' job?"
"Seems sooo risky."
"New car again?? Don't forget where you came from!"
Translation: please stop growing and taking chances, so I don't have to face my own laziness and BS excuses.
When I started making real money, my circle got real small... real fast. And that wasn't an accident. It was a decision I made (and never regretted)
People who genuinely want you to win are rare. They usually also have skin in the game and aren't just watching from the peanut gallery with an opinion.
That being said, not everyone who questions you is a hater. Some of them love you and are scared for you. You'll know the difference.
But the ones quietly hoping you fail? With their fake concern and random questions that show they have no clue what they're talking about? Planting doubts and wanting you to question yourself?
Cut 'em loose. Life's too short and the game's too serious.
And prepare for your circle to get smaller (but WAY better ;)
If you're tired of being the most ambitious person in the room, you're most definitely in the wrong room.
The DM Alliance is where serious business owners go when they're ready to get around people who actually get it.
If that sounds like you, let's talk and see if it's a fit.
