I read something that hits hard for business owners:

Good employees do what you tell them.

Great employees do what you would do.

The best employees do what you wish you'd thought of.

I used to think I had to do everything. That nobody else would care like I do. No one could move fast enough or get it "just right."

Truth is I was hiring the wrong way. I was hiring helpers, not shot callers.

Bad employees kept me chained to my business 24/7 and stressed as hell. Losing opportunities because I had to swoop in and do all shit they should have been doing.

Now? Every business I run can operate without me.

Because I've got people in place who not only think like I do, but challenge me to level up. They have ideas and insights that help make the companies better.

That's what building a real business looks like. Not a lazy crew that sits and waits for orders, but a team that moves before you ask, and brings ideas you never even considered.

Take care of the right people and they'll fight to keep you at the top.
