I remember a while back I wasn't sleeping good. Kept waking up worrying.
Projects weren't moving. Communication was a mess and things that normally get done just weren't happening.
So I got my team on a call at 8am to ask what the heck was going on.
It was just excuse after excuse.
"I'm waiting on him." "She didn't send the file." "I didn't know."
I was ready to burn the whole thing down and fire everyone on the spot. I've done it before.
But this time I didn't. BecauseI realized something.
I'm not the guy to micromanage daily accountability. My brain doesn't work that way.
So instead of firing everyone, I emailed an amazing fractional HR guy I work with.
I told him my pain points. And I flat out asked for help.
He stepped in. Ran meetings and reset the standards. Within hours (literally) the bottleneck was gone.
I've been in business almost 30 years and I still ask for help every single day.
Too many owners think they have to carry every problem on their own shoulders. They think they have to be the HR department, the sales manager, the laborer and the visionary all at once.
You don't. You just need to know who to call. And quit doing all the things that'll burn you out so fast you'll lose the will to even get out of bed in the morning.
That's the entire point of the DM Alliance. It's a private network where you can walk in on Day 1 and say "I have this exact problem" and someone experienced steps in to fix it or connect you with someone who can.
You stop being the bottleneck. And keep your freedom, health and sanity.
Sounds like a pretty good deal to me ;)
If you're ready to stop figuring it out alone, it's time for you to join us and get the help you need.
